Poppy is a normal squirrel villager in the Animal Crossing series. She first appeared in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

Her appearance is distinctive. Poppy has a primarily brown body with a cream-colored face and a small, pointed nose. Her ears are tipped with white, and she sports a perpetually sweet and slightly dazed expression. She has beady black eyes.

As a normal villager, Poppy is known for her sweet, gentle, and somewhat ditzy personality. She enjoys hobbies like reading, baking, and interior design, often gifting the player items related to these interests. She gets along well with most other villagers, especially other normal, peppy, and lazy villagers.

Poppy's catchphrase is "nutty," reflecting her squirrel nature and slightly scatterbrained demeanor. Her house interior often features a cozy, woodland-themed design, reflecting her love for nature.
